Because It’s You was a floral fruity blind buy for me.  An admitted romantic at heart, I was drawn in by the brand story line:

Because It’s You opens with a raspberry tinged neroli.  The fruity floral note is fresh and bright.  There is a lightness and a flirtiness in the opening.  The opening reminds the wearer of the butterflies of falling in love; it’s effervescent and full of joy.  The raspberry-neroli is soon joined by an innocent rose.  The rose is soft and delicate.  As the scent develops the base of vanilla musk appears.  The vanilla adds a touch of non-cloying sweetness to the musk.  So, while the musk adds sensuality to this fragrance, it retains the heart of a pure love in its vibe.  This is not a “come hither” fragrance, but instead a stanza written to young/new love.

I know there hasn’t been a lot of love for this juice in the die-hard fragrance community and honestly, it isn’t particularly unique, but it is pleasant, wearable, and approachable; a nice fragrance to easily grab for any time of year and for any wearing venue.
